Event Highlights
Vicepresident Félix Ulloa
Félix Augusto Antonio Ulloa Garay, born April 6, 1951, in Chinameca, El Salvador, is a renowned politician and lawyer.
Since June 1, 2019, he has served as the Vice President of El Salvador under Nayib Bukele’s administration.
Ulloa obtained his law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and his Ph.D. with honors.
He’s an advocate for human rights and democracy, with a history of involvement in student movements and unions.
Tribute to Dr. Frank Rubio
A Highlight of the evening will be a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Frank Rubio, a Salvadoran-American astronaut whose remarkable spaceflight has secured his name in the annals of American space exploration.
Dr. Rubio’s historic achievement, marking the longest single spaceflight by a U.S. astronaut, exemplifies the spirit of ambition and aspiration. His journey among the stars symbolizes the limitless possibilities that can be achieved with determination and dedication.
Recognizing Social Activist Mrs. Daysi Marin
