Dia del Salvadoreno Houston

Our Mission

At Día del Salvadoreño Houston, we work to eliminate prejudice and discrimination by recognizing and promoting the values, traditions, and contributions of Salvadoran immigrants in the United States. Through educational activities and community events, we strive to highlight the greatness of multicultural diversity while fostering respect and inclusion.

Who We Are

We are a nonprofit organization 501c3 committed to building a stronger, more united community where Salvadoran heritage and cultural exchange are celebrated. We believe that integration and respect for all cultures enrich society, which is why we raise awareness about the contributions of the Salvadoran community in the United States.

What We Do

Thanks to the generous donations we receive, Día del Salvadoreño Houston provides

scholarships to Salvadoran students living in the United States, supporting their education and

future. In addition, we assist Salvadoran families in covering the costs of the necessary

procedures to transition from permanent resident status to U.S. citizenship, empowering them to

exercise their right to vote and fully participate in society.

We organize educational and cultural events to educate our community about the history and

traditions of El Salvador. We also promote unity among different ethnic and cultural groups to

celebrate the diversity that makes the United States a strong and vibrant country.

Join Us

We invite everyone, regardless of their background, to join our activities and be part of this

initiative that promotes respect, inclusion, and diversity. Together, with the support of the

community, we continue to build a better future for Salvadorans in the United States.
